Google Hasn’t Figured Out That Women Deserve To Be Paid As Much As Men

Decades after the introduction of the Equal Rights Amendment (ERA), women still aren't sure their dedication, hard work, and commitment to the success of the companies at which they work will guarantee them a salary equal to that of their male counterparts.

Silicon Valley tech leader Google found itself this week at the center of a class-action lawsuit that accuses the organization of clear-cut gender discrimination.

The lawsuit comes on the heels of a recent review by the US Department of Labor of Google employee salaries. The study results suggest that the women’s salaries are intrinsically disproportionate to that of the men. Google disputes the findings of the study and is currently defending its employment practices in court.
